Is there really a free trial?
Yes — every plan starts with a 14-day free trial of the full platform. No credit card, no setup fee. You can migrate real member data during the trial so you're evaluating Sacco Kit with your own numbers.
What counts as a "member record"?
A member record is any individual or institutional member on your books — active, dormant, or exited. Staff accounts and admin users don't count against your member limit.
Do you charge per transaction or for M-PESA volume?
No. Your monthly plan covers unlimited transactions and reconciliation. M-PESA's own Daraja and paybill charges are billed to you directly by Safaricom — we don't mark them up.
Can we change plans later?
Anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated; downgrades apply at your next billing date. Your data is never locked to a plan tier.
What happens if we exceed our member limit?
Nothing breaks. We'll flag it in your dashboard and reach out to move you to the next tier. We never suspend live SACCO operations over a plan threshold.
Is Sacco Kit SASRA compliant?
Sacco Kit generates the prudential returns and audit trails SASRA expects, on every plan. Compliance ultimately rests with your SACCO, but the reporting is built to match the regulator's required shapes.
Where is our data hosted?
On managed infrastructure with encrypted backups. Enterprise customers can opt for a dedicated environment, a specific region, or an on-premise deployment.
How long does onboarding take?
Most SACCOs are live within 2–4 weeks, including data migration. Premium and Enterprise plans include guided onboarding with a dedicated specialist.
Do you support Uganda and Tanzania?
Yes. Sacco Kit ships with localized reporting and mobile-money rails for Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. Pricing is shown in KES but billed in your local currency on request.
What if we want a feature you don't have yet?
Tell us. We ship continuously and prioritise the requests we hear most from SACCOs. Enterprise plans include a dedicated integration team for bespoke needs.
